TFC4-Handling Kit
Nerd Rods TFC4 Handling Kit for improved ride quality and or handling. This kit serves two physical purposes. One is give a place to install a rear sway bar that will help improve handling and comfort. Two, it allows the installation of larger tires on the rear of suspension. Without body modifications 295’s can be installed on 11” wide wheels and with some minor tubing a 325 can be installed on an 11.5” wide wheel. We suggest this kit to 2 different groups, guys who want to peak performance and guys who want the most comfortable ride available.
Peak handling is achieved with more rubber on the ground and the help of the rear sway bar. The rear sway bar helps by transferring spring rate from the side of the suspension not working the corner to the side that is. The control arms (dog bones) are replaced with custom rod end joints that are narrower than the C4 Corvette links and allows for more tire room under the rear of the car. To get the most possible tire you will probably need custom wheels made for your application.
The best ride is achieved with the help of the rear sway bar. While the sway bar can be used for peak handling in corners it works hand in hand with the shocks and springs and when the sway bar is present you don’t need as much spring to stop the body from rolling. So if you want awesome ride quality we install the rear sway bar AND swap lighter springs on to the rear suspension of the car. This makes for a much smoother ride and is recommended for customers looking for the best ride out of their TriFive.

Stage 2 Handling Kit
TFC4-HLK-S2
This kit is welded for your own installation to a stage 1 or 2 frame. You will need to supply us with the sway bar from your suspension for modifications or just weld the brackets to the bar yourself.
